The Celtic Art Coracle Volume 1 Issue 8

Cover Design: Knotwork Panel  by Susan Yee, a further development of the blimp knot panel from the previous cover , this Knotwork Panel Based on Fylfot Breakline construction is shown on page 115.

This issue is mainly taken up with the article on the Val Camonica mazes. They were considered to have been crude, stone age attempts at designing the basic maze, one of which is also carved on the rock near its supposed predecessors. However, I have shown here that all the earlier "crude attempts" are actually ciphers for the construction of the maze, proving the the "Cretan Maze" was known to the Celts and their ancestors long before their possible influence by Cretan soldiers in the Roman army, as previously speculated.
